Carole Sue Lebbin (born 1948) is a distinguished American artist and educator who was born and worked in Washington, D.C. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1970 and a Master of Arts from George Washington University in 1972, she established herself in the D.C. area through teaching positions at Catholic University and Northern Virginia Community College. As both a painter and printmaker, her work is particularly known for creating imaginative landscapes and cityscapes where reality and memory intertwine, often featuring stylized buildings, landscapes, and flowers
